We are excited to announce the promotion of Eric Kafka to Partner at Vertu Capital, effective immediately. This promotion is a recognition of Eric’s significant contributions to our firm, his exceptional leadership, and his strong investment skills.

Eric was employee number two at Vertu, joining with both private equity investment experience from OMERS Private Equity and operating experience from his roles at Facebook at private equity backed Sysomos. His ability to navigate complex business environments and drive value creation has made him a key player in our firm’s success.  He has been instrumental in sourcing and executing high-impact investments, as well as providing invaluable strategic guidance to our portfolio companies. His operational experience and hands-on approach enable him to work closely with management teams to drive growth and improve operational performance, further enhancing the value of our investments.

Beyond his technical skills, Eric is also a strong leader and mentor within our firm. He is deeply committed to the growth and development of our team, offering guidance, insight, and support to colleagues at every level. His collaborative approach and unwavering focus on fostering a positive, high-performance culture have made him an invaluable asset to Vertu.
